Hair stroke tattoo is a method of creating or filling in eyebrows using realistic hair like strokes. By using the tattoo needle to implant pigment into the skin to create realistic looking hair like strokes, we can make quite natural looking brows that aren’t obvious that they’ve been tattooed in. This method of tattoo is sometimes also referred to as feathering or eyebrow embroidery. The advantages of this method over the block method of tattoo is that it looks quite a bit more natural for someone who doesn’t have any hair and is great for clients who already have hair who need more density or definition. Hair stroke tattoo lasts around 1-1.5 years before needing touching up. We use a method of application using a digital gun.
Block tattoo or Softap brows are a method of tattooing where we fill in the entire area of the brows creating a block of colour. This method of tattoo is great for using as a combination with hair stroke, for corrective work and also for someone who likes a more defined or darker brow. Block tattoo also lasts a lot longer than hair stroke tattoo, lasting at around 3-4 years before needing a touch up. The block or Softap brows are performed with hand tools not with a digital gun.
